immersing series

This series contains two works. After weeks of experimenting in her studio with pouring material on her body, Melanie Maria found the material of plaster. Plaster hardens, it transforms through time and even after breaking it down after using: you can transform the material to be used again. It will harden less.

Mouldable (2018) is the first work of the series and was part of a group show at ArtEZ University of the Arts. CATCH ME (2018) is the second work and took place on top of the building where she studied.
