“Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they’re here to stay. Oh, I believe in yesterday. Suddenly, I’m not half the man I used to be. There’s a shadow hanging over me. Oh, yesterday came suddenly.”
We tend to ignore changes and hold on to what we know. We are afraid of the unknown, yet we can be spontaneous. But being blind-sided is a pitfall of one of our characteristics. And so, in this time where a new normal arises more and faster than we are aware of… In this time where we find ourselves unknown every few weeks, waiting for new and changed measures in our social behavior… In this time where a virus is spreading like ants in their homes and their hunt for food is more structured then ours as humans; I pledge myself as an artist responsible to be a sort of leader. We have to be an example, we can be the magicians of the society. It is not that everyone has to listen to artists, but artists are able to change perspectives and therefore additional behavior.
